The people of Broken Hill, in the far west of New South Wales, have been left broken hearted after the producers of the new 'Mad Max' film decided they could not use the area.

The production of 'Mad Max Fury Road' is instead being moved to Namibia in Africa.

The reason for the move is that Broken Hill is not post-apocalyptic enough due to recent rains turning the usually barren surrounds into a sea of wild flowers.
