Lovers of fine music can look forward to another evening of choice standards and selected Edith Piaf favorites at NICE Restaurant on Friday 12 March with Windhoek’s premier jazz ensemble, AfterFX featuring internationally acclaimed chansonette, Esther Fellner on vocals. Since their debut performance at the Old Breweries Courtyard in December last year, the group has added saxophonist and flutist, Lars Hierath to complete the instrumental quintet made up of Sam Batola, (guitar), Jean-Pierre Ntsika (bass), Jesus Rey (violin) and Guichont Bikoumou (percussion). Velvet voiced Esther Fellner, in turn, adds unforgettable lyrics and charismatic stage performance to the already accomplished line-up of musicians.

Classical Music Productions will stage a brand new production, “Dance… all night”. The choreographer is Adele Blank from Cape Town. The dancers will be Devon Snell & Meagan Lottering (winners from: “Die laaste Wals” - Kyknet) who will do Ballroom dancing and Latin dancing, Owen Manamela & Kristin Wilson who will do Contemporary dancing, Carlos Córdoba & Anita Ortiz (from Namibia) who will do traditional Spanish and Flamenco dancing and Johnny Bovang & Megan Swart who will do Ballet. Marc Goldberg, from Cape Town, will do solo Ballet and Contemporary dancing.
